There are many places to eat in Mallaig, Morar and Arisaig; pubs, hotels and restaurants , Fish and Chips and a Thai takeaway.

There are 2 fishmongers, Andy Race, and Jaffy’s,  who have smokehouses, and a great  selection of shellfish;  prawns ,langoustines, mussels and oysters , as well as Smoked Salmon and other smoked fish and shellfish, plus fresh fish.

There is also a busy Co-op, which serves all the islands and outlying areas and estates.

Mallaig also has a Medical Practice, Pharmacy, Art Gallery, “Ginger “a Designer Knitwear shop, and  a Bookshop in The Fisherman’s Mission.
