Autumn Colours

What better way to enjoy the lovely Autumn colours of the West Highlands, than staying a few days in Rum Cottage, near Arisaig, and close to Camusdarach Beach.  The views out to Rum, Eigg and Skye are stunning, with the Outer Hebrides visible on the horizon on a clear day, and the mountains will soon have their first dusting of snow.

Rum Cottage accepts up to 2 dogs at a small extra charge, and Camusdarach Beach is “dog heaven”.

There are many lovely walks in the area; out on the Rhu Road to Rhu point, and round the hidden woodland garden of Larachmor, just on the outskirts of Arisaig.  Or you could have 9 holes on Traigh Golf Course which is in beautiful condition just now and is playable all year round.

Then return to Rum Cottage with its well-equipped kitchen and cheerful, cosy woodburner, to relax in the comfy sofas.  Several restaurants, and the pubs are now open all year round, both in Mallaig and Arisaig so there are choices
